According to the latest assessments by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country as a whole is expected to be partly cloudy to very cloudy, with intermittent rain and showers in the northern and eastern parts of the Eastern Mediterranean, the Eastern Black Sea, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, and the Ordu region. The Eastern Mediterranean and Southeastern Anatolia will experience showers and thunderstorms, while the higher elevations of the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the northeastern parts of Eastern Anatolia will experience mixed rain and snow. The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in southeastern Eastern Anatolia, the southern and eastern parts of Southeastern Anatolia, and the areas around Elazığ, Tunceli, Bingöl, Hatay, Osmaniye, Kilis, and Adıyaman. Fog and haze are predicted in eastern Marmara and the Western Black Sea during the morning and night hours. There is a risk of avalanches and snowmelt in the sloping areas with high snow cover in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia.

TEMPERATURE: Air temperatures are expected to rise in the interior and western regions, reaching above seasonal norms, while remaining around normal levels in other areas.

WIND: The wind is expected to blow lightly, occasionally moderately, from the north and northeast in the western parts and from the south in the eastern parts.

WARNINGS

HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING: Rainfall is expected in southeastern Eastern Anatolia, southern and eastern Southeastern Anatolia, and... ElazigTunceli, Bingöl, HatayOsmaniye, Kilis and Adiyaman Since strong local rainfall is expected in the surrounding areas, caution and preventative measures should be taken against adverse conditions such as flash floods, lightning, local hail, disruptions to transportation, strong winds and storms during rainfall, and tornadoes.

AVALANCHE WARNING: There is an avalanche risk in the high altitudes of the inland areas of the Eastern Black Sea region and in the sloping areas of eastern Anatolia with high snow cover.
